The International Centre for Transitional Justice and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) of Canada collaborated to host a youth retreat in Vancouver, Canada, October 28th to 31st, 2010. This video showcases highlights from the retreat where participants learned about truth commissions: their purposes, procedures, opportunities for youth involvement and applications both in Canada and around the world. The goal of the course was to build capacity among young people in Canada and enable increased youth participation in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission work.
