Items from Fort Alexander School submitted by Theodore "Ted" Fontaine" at the Alberta National Event. Theodore Fontaine, during his Expression of Reconciliation, described the items in his speech: "They're not a memento of pride and joy but of a remembrance and reconciliation. There was a piece of barbwire that incarcerated us, wood from a wall that divided us, and a stone which formed part of the residential school and grounded us to the earth."
